1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small values stored by a website in the browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies that can retain settings or temporary state. Some are strictly necessary for authentication, security or a feature expressly requested by the user.
2. Storage currently used by the web service
Essential cookies
- bbf_session: authenticates an active web session. It is configured as an HTTP-only, secure session credential where HTTPS is used, with SameSite protection.
- bbf_lang: remembers a language selected by the user for up to one year.
- bbf_platform: identifies a Telegram web launch so that the correct authentication flow can be used.
Local and session storage
- Game settings such as sound, music, animation speed and language.
- Selected deck and offering, where needed to preserve the player's current loadout choice.
- Temporary rewarded-ad job state, to safely resume or reconcile an interrupted claim.
- Temporary Telegram launch information and local match replay history for the current browser session.
These items support requested game functions, continuity, security and preferences. The public landing page at bornbyfirelight.com does not currently load third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
3. Advertising and measurement
The public landing page at bornbyfirelight.com does not currently load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. The web game can open a Monetag advertising destination when a player chooses an ad-supported action, and the Telegram Mini App can load the Monetag SDK for configured rewarded placements. Those third parties may use cookies, device or browser identifiers and similar technologies under their own policies.
Where consent is required, non-essential advertising storage must remain disabled until the user has made a valid choice. Refusing non-essential storage must not prevent access to the ordinary game, although an optional ad-funded reward may be unavailable.
Rewarded ads in the native Android app are delivered through Google Mobile Ads. Android advertising consent is handled through the app's consent interface and is described in the Privacy Policy, rather than by browser cookies on this site.
4. Managing browser storage
You can delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, language persistence, Telegram authentication, settings or other web-game features from working correctly.
Signing out clears the active authentication cookie. Removing all site data from the browser also clears locally stored settings and temporary replay information on that device.
