1. The service
Born by Firelight is an online card-duelling game delivered through web, Telegram and native Android clients. Game rules, account state, progression, matchmaking, match results and rewards are determined by the server. The clients present that state and send player actions to the common backend.
The service is provided by Teimuraz Melikadze. Contact details appear in the Legal Notice.
2. Accounts
- Users must provide a suitable nickname and keep account access credentials secure.
- An account created without a linked email may initially be recoverable only from the device or recovery method shown by the client. Linking and verifying an email enables supported cross-device access and recovery.
- Users are responsible for activity carried out through their account unless the account was compromised without their fault and the incident is reported promptly.
- Session tokens, recovery keys and verification links must not be shared.
3. Virtual content and points
Cards, decks, maps, wildcards, offerings, points and other in-game items are virtual features of the service. They have no cash value, are not legal tender and may not be sold, exchanged for money or transferred outside the mechanisms expressly provided by the game.
Balancing, availability, visual presentation and reward quantities may be adjusted to maintain the game, correct errors or protect fair play. Confirmed rewards will not be removed arbitrarily, but invalid, duplicated or fraudulently obtained rewards may be corrected.
4. Rewarded advertising
Some optional features may offer a virtual reward after the user chooses to watch a rewarded advertisement. Ad availability, eligibility and successful completion depend on the advertising provider and server verification; an advertisement or reward is therefore not guaranteed on every attempt.
Attempting to fake ad completion, automate claims, manipulate callbacks, bypass cooldowns or obtain duplicate rewards is prohibited.
5. Acceptable use and fair play
Users must not:
- Cheat, use bots, scripts, macros or unauthorised automation.
- Exploit faults, desynchronisation, race conditions or undocumented interfaces to gain an advantage or reward.
- Reverse engineer, modify or distribute an unauthorised client where prohibited by applicable law.
- Interfere with the API, WebSocket service, matchmaking, other players, infrastructure or security controls.
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data, or evade suspensions and technical limits.
- Use unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, impersonating or privacy-invasive nicknames or conduct.
- Use the service for fraud, spam or any unlawful purpose.
A security flaw or reward error should be reported to legal@bornbyfirelight.com and not exploited.
6. Enforcement
Accounts, sessions, rewards or access may be limited, suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect players or infrastructure, correct fraudulent rewards, comply with law or enforce these terms. Measures should be proportionate to the risk and available evidence.
7. Availability and updates
Continuous availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, network faults, third-party outages, unsupported client versions and other incidents may temporarily affect the service. Updates may be required for security, compatibility or new features.
Features may be introduced, changed or retired. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new update date.
8. Intellectual property
Born by Firelight and its original software, design, artwork, audio, text and presentation are protected by applicable intellectual property law. A personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the supported clients is granted only for lawful play under these terms.
9. Third-party platforms
Use through Telegram, Android, Google Mobile Ads, Monetag or another third-party platform may also be subject to that platform's terms and policies. Born by Firelight does not control third-party availability or independent processing.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, the service provider is not responsible for indirect loss caused by outages, unauthorised third-party conduct, incompatible devices or events beyond reasonable control.
11. Age
The service is not directed to children under 13. Minors may use it only with the permission and supervision required by the law of their country.
12. Account termination and deletion
Users may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of their account and associated data through the methods described on the Delete account page.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts and authorities competent under that law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections or forum rights.
